在這裡先跟大家分享與回味當年聽「黑膠」唱片的金曲與情懷。
六、七十年代，男生不是攝影發燒友，就是音響的追求者。我家中有兩位哥哥。大哥沉迷攝影，天天出去拍照。二哥愛好流行音樂，所以家中常有最新的流行歌曲聽。
我記得那時二哥買了一部山水牌的唱盤機，以那個年代來說是極之奢侈。從那時開始家中常播放不同的歌曲，我亦認識了ABBA, Bonny M, Bee Gees, Brother Four, Simon and Garfunkel, Village People, Pink FLoyd, Air Supply....
最近Village People 首本名曲YMCA在「壞蛋獎門人」翻唱，甚受歡迎。這上證明了一首能夠風行一時的歌曲，是經得起歲月的考驗。另外，有些歌曲則是是歷久常新，百聽不厭。譬如，Simon and Garfunkel主唱的 Sound of Silence 和 Scarborough Fair。還有Phil collins的Against all odds那時天天都播。

黑膠唱片，習慣又稱膠木唱片（gramophone record）指轉速78轉每分鐘，聲槽寬度0.10——0.16毫米，聲槽密度每厘米30——50條的留聲機唱片。黑膠唱片是一般人對過往使用唱盤機播放的唱片的稱呼。
早期的唱片都是45轉的細碟，每一面只能錄製一首歌。到後來出現了轉速較慢、面積較大的33又三分一轉密紋唱片（即LP，Long Play），每面大約可以錄製6首歌左右；另一方面，原來的45轉唱片由於生產技術的改進，使原來每一面只能錄製一首歌，變為可以錄製兩首歌，這種唱片被稱為EP（Extended Play)。(資料來自維基百科)
